What is mindfulness?

Gratitude is pausing to notice and appreciate the things that we often take for granted. Each of these small moments strings together to create a web of wellbeing that, over time, strengthens our ability to notice the good.
Practicing gratitude can improve mental health and boost our
relationships with others.
Do we all need more self-compassion?
Scientific research into Self-compassion over the last decade has shown it has many benefits for wellbeing. Individuals who are more self-compassionate tend to have greater happiness, life satisfaction and motivation, better relationships and physical health, and less anxiety and depression.
We also have the resilience needed to cope with stressful life events. We can learn to embrace ourselves and our lives, despite inner and outer imperfections, and provide ourselves with the strength needed to thrive.
